Logic Pro 9 Mavericks Compatibility
Is my presonus software compatible with mac os x 10 9.
Logic pro 9 mavericks compatibility. But you cannot get it from apple anymore because now they have 10 2 4 for which you need os x 10 10 or later. Support for 64 bit native mode compatibility with 64 bit audio unit plug ins file names with over 32 characters are now supported. Avid have released pro tools 11 1 which is fully compatible with os x 10 9.
Be aware though that at this moment pro tools 11 1 is not yet compatible with the latest mavericks 10 9 1 update. Logic pro x 10 1 1 and yosemite 10 10 3 seems to be relatively stable. Pro tools 11 now has support for mavericks starting with version 11 0 3.
Logic pro 9 master pro and x certified. So long as any external hardware drivers are compatible with 10 10 3 however as yosemite seems to make more demands on hardware there is likely to be quite a noticeable performance hit using lpx and mavericks yosemite compared to the lp9 and snow leopard combination. No driver installation is necessary under osx 10 4 or above.
Pro tools 11 0 3 and higher will only work with mac os x 10 9 mavericks and 10 8 5 mountain lion. Logic pro 9 working on os x el capitan solution any donations to my channel are more than welcome. Mavericks will run up to logic 10 2 2.
The uninstaller for pro tools 10 3 7 will not work on mavericks along with the nitris dx mojo dx. The co install of pro tools 11 and 10 3 x will not work on mavericks. Mavericks os x 10 9 is now qualified with all devices listed in this document below.
This update delivers improved compatibility and numerous fixes.
